It is written by John Lester, a man who died of AIDS in 1992 and Lori Wall-Holloway, who wrote poetry to encourage him through the last year of his life. Coupled with artwork by Robert Echeverria, a graphic artist for FOURSQUARE WORLD ADVANCE Magazine and Office of Communications, International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, the poetry also points the reader to a loving God who will still walk beside us during one of the toughest journeys anyone can take.

          …The whole garden seems to be in an uproar. It is quite different from the uproar I experienced my first day here. The little choir does not sing or sound joyful. Instead, they sound like a siren screaming for attention.

What would it feel like being planted in the Master’s garden? Would it feel any different from being planted in a new church, new job or even a new neighborhood?

Using the allegory of a rose plant having to go through a process of learning to like her surroundings and the roses around her, additional prose, poetry and real life stories are included to encourage the reader that the Master gardener knows all, and we usually are right where we should be in order to “bloom” or “blossom” for Him.
